about

Order and chaos go hand in hand. Like day giving way to night or rain evaporating in the sunshine, change is both inevitable and necessary. So what do you do after you record and release a project that intentionally bounces all over the place? Well, you simplify. You break it down. You get to the Core.
inCOREporated represents a slimmed down incarnation of the Divine Suns. While notable names from Chaos Theory are featured, the core of the rhymes are provided by ANON The Griot, Dan Johns, Plex Long and The Hunch Punch Champ. The resulting four horsemen deliver a product that is tight, cohesive, and focused. The primary focus? Bars
But, it’s also so much more than bars. inCOREporated showcases artists committed to allowing; even demanding, their music mature and develop as they do. What you get is ten easily digestible tracks; accentuated by hilarious flashbacks from Divine Sun historian, Diligent, wrapped up in an emcee’s manifesto.
The smaller numbers allow for an easier play between vocal tones, delivery styles, and cadences. The four emcess effortlessly pass the baton between themselves; building momentum in each verse, painting more vivid pictures with each song. Boasting production from a variety of producers (stateside and international), the sound combines that nostalgic lunchroom table feel decorated with electric vocals and expert arrangement.
The lead visual for the album goes to “We Beautiful People,” a Humans of New York-esque exploration of what is great within us all. Featuring the Suns, friends, and family, its hook is perfectly offset by scratches by Prince Ice and vocal samples from “Divine Suns.” The Suns create continuity with their Chaos Theory release with a raucous “Black Magnum” remix that both reunites old friends and unifies three different crews.
Purposeful. Intentional. Raw. inCOREporated bests both worlds. We offer you bump for the trunk and soundtrack for life. Ride with it. Cook to it. Take it all in. Enjoy a trip to the core. Let it get in your veins. While you’re at it, visit www.webeautifulpeople.spreadshirt.com and let the world see how beautiful you are.
